Seeletso joined Grant Thornton in 2018. She joined the firm as a Senior Executive in the People and culture team and was later promoted to Manager, reporting directly to the Managing Partner of the firm. She has over 12 years of work experience.
Experience
Seeletso has 12 years amassed experience in key human resource issues and 16 years of work experience in different sectors. She started working in 2006 at Standard Chartered Bank Botswana as a Graduate Trainee until 2008. She then went on to work as a Credit Controller at Builders Merchants Botswana. She later joined the Ministry of Education in 2010 in the Human Resources department and then joined Grant Thornton in 2018 in the People and Culture division.

Seeletso brings in a vast amount of different experience which entails banking experience, retail experience as well as government experience. Her job in Grant Thornton entails managing and taking responsibility of recruitment, employee development, training, employee engagement, performance management, reward and recognition, social welfare as well as updating and maintenance of Human Resource records. She is responsible for managing the People and culture team.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Seeletso is an Associate member of the Association Of Certified Compliance Professionals In Africa (ACCPA) certified professional which she acquired in June 2020. Seeletso has attained a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of Botswana, which she completed in 2015. She also has a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Social Sciences having majored in Public Administration, which she acquired in 2006 also from the University of Botswana.
Technological proficiency
Seeletso has extensive experience operating the VIP payroll management software to execute HR related roles. She is also proficient in using Microsoft Office applications to ensure quality on different tasks
Community involvement
Seeletso participates in Grant Thornton’s CSR initiatives such as recently supporting Government’s Digital Transformation Strategy within the education sector by sponsoring a state-of-the art imported tech panel – a first for public schools in Botswana. Over the years, Grant Thornton has supported various local communities paying special attention to the upliftment of education in Botswana.
