Grant Thornton Botswana is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager in the Marketing, Communications and Business Development department. As a manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's growth and enhancing its market presence.
Responsibilities include
- Manage a team within an office environment, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Integrate and align MCBD tools, including branding, to complement the firm's requirements.
- Conceptualize and execute publications, presentations, and communications for internal and external use.
- Develop and implement systems to track business development initiatives, client database management, and client experience.
- Manage digital media platforms such as social media and the firm's website.
- Identify prospects and perform business development activities.
- Ensure effective completion of events and campaigns.
- Maintain a professional image of the firm and uphold its reputation.
- Collaborate with other teams to support firm-wide objectives.
- Adhere to office policies and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in management, marketing, communications, multimedia, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including team management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with editorial proficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience in event management and talent development.
- Ability to maintain interpersonal relationships within the firm and with suppliers.
