Business Risk Services (Executive)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive for our Business Risk Services (BRS) team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality services to our clients, ensuring adherence to professional standards and timelines. You will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating business risks while exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead BRS assignments, including planning, execution, and fieldwork management.
Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business operations and strategic goals.
Prepare risk-based audit planning memoranda and tests for each audit.
Research and resolve technical issues identified during fieldwork.
Compile working papers, Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs), and detailed reports in line with Grant Thornton International’s standards.
Deliver quality outputs to clients within agreed timelines and scope.
Support the Manager in presenting deliverables to clients.
Maintain compliance with internal quality control and risk management procedures.
Stay updated on developments in core areas of responsibility and contribute to thought leadership within the industry.
Manage and mentor staff/trainees, supporting their professional development.
Essential Requirements:
Professional qualification (CIA, CFE, ERM).
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Business Risk Services, Internal Audit, or Forensic Investigations.
Strong knowledge of internal audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and forensic investigation standards.
Experience with analytical tools (IDEA, ACL) and internal audit software (TeamMate).
Proficient in Microsoft products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Desirable Skills:
Working knowledge of Generative AI tools for enhancing work efficiency.
Experience in the Financial Services sector (Insurance, Microfinance, Medical Aid, Pension Funds, Commercial Banks).
